An event for people interested in HIV policy and strategy and who have a vital role in the global effort to support people with HIV and to slow the HIV epidemic.

Featuring the launch of the most recent StopAIDS report
‘Act Now - Access to care and treatment – meeting the AIDS Challenge’

You will hear about and discuss how Scotland might contribute to the promotion of the rights and needs of people with HIV, and also influence the G8 Summit, hosted next year in Scotland.

Speakers include:
Elspeth Attwooll, MEP
Scottish Executive/ Parliament speaker (TBC)
StopAIDS student speaker on youth AIDS activism

The formal part will last from 5.30 to about 6.30 followed by food and refreshments
