To promote serious consideration of the economic, public health and
moral arguments in favour of improving access to treatment for AIDS
in resource poor countries.
To press for well-funded, large-scale, multi-centre treatment trials
to work out the practicalities of implementing AIDS
treatment programmes in different regions of the world and to
develop simple and flexible models for treatment provision, appropriate
to local needs and resources.
To complement the work of other organisations striving to address
the combined effects of poverty and AIDS in the
developing world.
